Sharing from God’s table
Zach Buller
Junior
Memorial Road MB Church, Edmond, Okla.

My youth group went to Skid Row. We heard from people at missions and churches who are trying to improve Skid Row and to convert, teach and bring up new Christians. One organization that we visited is trying to educate children. After this we went to lunch and were told to talk with someone on the street.

We met a guy named Sing who said he was gospel singer. He sang us a song that he had written. The first thing he asked us was if we were eating at our table or at the table of God. We said the table of God and gave him some food.

This entire Skid Row experience changed me in that I know God works in many ways in the most criminal areas. I’m glad for this experience and it far exceeded my expectations. It challenged me to think in new ways.
