What We Believe
Like other Christian churches, Mennonite Brethren believe that God created and sustains the universe, and that God alone is worthy of worship. We believe that God became human in Jesus Christ, who came to restore the world because humans rejected God. Jesus modeled the way of God's kingdom. He died on the cross, making it possible for us to accept a renewed relationship with God. He rose from the dead, broke the power of sin and death, and freed us to live in obedience to God's will.

We express our beliefs in a more detailed way in our Confession of Faith. Confessional statements are simply a public testimony of what we believe, based on the Word of God. Our confession is used as an outline for instruction, church policy and discipline.
