Mission USA

The goal of Mission USA is to provide a focused national vision and strategic plan for the U.S. Conference to build up and increase the church of Jesus Christ through passionate outreach to un-churched people. In order to accomplish this task Mission USA assists existing churches with renewal evaluations and strategies and also aggressively seeks to find viable opportunities to plant new churches in all of our districts across America. Both of these functions are critically important for the continuing health and vitality of our family of churches. In short, Mission USA is strategizing in order to lead U.S. MB churches in a unified and enhanced evangelistic effort.

Reaching out and ministering to those in our communities who don’t yet know Jesus must become an ultimate core value for us as MBs. We believe this is a fundamental aspect of what it means to be a people that God uses to build his Kingdom.

Therefore Mission USA is seeking out significant partnerships within our districts for evangelism, discipleship and church planting efforts that begin in the local church.

Passionately reaching out to people in our communities will be a hallmark of effective churches in the 21st century. No longer can we simply develop “in house” programs and expect people to come to us. We must be intentional about providing culturally relevant contacts and ministries that make a difference in lives and provide for lasting relationships. Today it’s all about connecting with people who need Jesus. The church must reach out beyond its four walls as never before.

Mission USA strives to look and think outside the box. As God leads, we want to accomplish big things for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. We desire to see many more people come to know Jesus as Savior. Mission USA wants to ignite a passionate dream among us about church planting. We need many more MB churches. It’s all about focusing on what’s truly important. Let’s inspire one another on toward that goal. Mission USA will partner, network, resource and strive for one purpose: To see more …come to know Him!
