South Mountain Community Church @ Daybreak in Herriman, UT

MUSA is an “assisting partner” along with the Pacific District Conference and other supporters in the third and newest Mennonite Brethren church in the Salt Lake City area. The actual location of the church is Herriman, UT. Michael and Rachel Trostrud are the church plant couple, and they are using the satellite model of church planting with messages from Pastor Paul Robie of South Mountain Community Church (MB) being broadcast on-screen.

The church had its Launch Sunday on Easter Sunday 2006. The latest report is that just over 100 people are now in regular attendance. They meet in the Daybreak Elementary School gymnasium and thus the church is known as South Mountain Community Church @ Daybreak. Please pray for this new MB church which is in the midst of Mormon culture.
