Mission USA and the Southern District Conference (CEEC) are joining with Trailhead Church (Centenni
al, Colo.), a church just 4 years old, to assist in planting a Trailhead daughter church in the Denver metro area (Littleton). Both Mission USA and CEEC will provide subsidy for this project over the next 2-3 years.
Part of what makes this exciting is that for the first time in many years, one of our district churches will take a leading rol
e in planting a new church. Trailhead will lead the way, but they need the help of the churches in our district to make this birth a reality. They need prayers. They need encouragement. They need physical and financial support."
A Project Team is providing initial leadership as the new church is established. This team, which met for the first time in June 2010, consists of the Josts, Jeff & Lianne Nikkel, one representatives of the SDC's CEEC, Mission USA rep (Don Morris) and another person from the core group. District Minister, Tim Sullivan will also attend.
A core group consisting of the Josts and two additional couples is leading the continues the work of formulating gatherings and making neighborhood connections. These are families from Trailhead Church that determined that God was leading them to be a part of developing The Micah Project.
The group has been meeting with several people on Sundays for Bible study and communion. These initial gatherings include several children. Many children make themselves at home at the Jost's enjoying the back yard
where a trampoline is often in use. These kids are hungry for connection and friendship. Parents of these children are beginning to ask questions and are making contact with the Josts. A few are beginning to attend the Sunday gathering.
Please pray for the Josts and their four daughters as they make this transition into church planting ministry.

Please pray for them for the following:
- Connecting with people from the Apartment Complex across the street from their home
- Encouraging those who are in need with care and the Good News
- Finding a place to worship when space runs out at the Jost's home. recent baptism
