Luke 15 is the chapter in the Bible that speaks of the lost sheep, lost coin and lost son - that all matter to God. It's His message of saying to us, "I'm willing to seek and to save the lost - but, I need your participation."
To help Jesus in His mission to seek and save the lost, we envision dozens of new churches with hundreds of new believers filling them. We envision people finding help and a fulfilled life as they come together to form communities of faith. We envision experiencing over and over again the fulfillment of our purpose, "the transformation of individuals, families and communities."
We think many of us are troubled by the condition of our culture a
nd of the church today. But, as MBs, we still believe in the power of the Word, the power of being connected to Jesus, and the sustainability of the church. The church is God's plan for reaching the world. So, when we look into our future, we see more MB churches!
One of the main goals of Mission USA is to plant clusters of churches in strategic locations that can work synergistically for ministry in metro areas. As well, the plan is to create networks of church planters for accountability, fellowship and encouragement. This is a big plan, but our God is a big God!
